I just love these colors and combination of handspun yarn and weaving of course! But, can you give me more hours in days, because I have too many things going on 🤩 Weekend in a spa, all day swimming and having fun? Yes indeed, but I was swimming in wool and enjoying all the lovely wool-people @neule_ja_kehruu_miitti What is the color of the earth, land and soil we need? I am prosessing these and painting with wool. After a week there will be maybe the best spinning weekend in Finland! In @peurunka there will be @neule_ja_kehruu_miitti and it means TWO DAYS of spinning and knitting!!!! Wow!! I am definitely not a christmas person, but today in my favourite Marimekko-dress I felt like little santas helper when I was making new warp at work. Today we visited Rokodelski arts and crafts center in Skofja Loka. We met the head of center, lovely Kati Sekirnik who introduced us their ideology of crafts. The shop was beautuful with brilliant furniture and in the workshop I got ecxited of local wool (suprise!). Kati also took us tour to see textile center @kreativnice_skofjaloka and studio of marvellous ceramist @urchic.porcelain I think I'm in love! It's been great getting to know @center_rog these days! We (me, @laurasaarivuorieskola and @otokka_art ) are so happy to see that craft workshops and open learning studios are so appreciated in Slovenia. Last week I managed to find fresh common reeds panicles, even I was little late with it. In so many places they were already too old to use in dyeing. Places where I worked during my summer sail. Small rigid heddle looms and knitting projects are easy to take with you almost anywhere. But I still missed my wheel, next time I can't go to Gotland without even a spindle! What a huge mistake!
