Spinning

I learned to spin in 2005 when I was doing my on-th-job-training. I was working as a guide and giving weaving work shows in a museum. I learned spinning from senior lady who was also working there and I am grateful to her!

2005

Today, I still love spinning. I have had many short and two half year long courses. There are many different spinning wheels that I have learned to use. At work we have Ashford Joy 2, which has two pedals, it it easier to handle than “grannies” how we call traditional spinning wheels. Old one are faster and it may feel that the fiber just runs through your hands.
