Works and studies

Taito Pirkanmaa

Currently I work in Taito Pirkanmaa.
I have been working here since 2015 and changed position and post couple times. Basically my work is teaching and counseling handcrafts. In my former post I also had little shop and I worked there almost like a entrepreneur.

At the moment my biggest task is teaching adults in our Craft school, coordinating courses to companies and marketing.

LAB University of Applied Sciences

I always want to study new and develope myself. During the last years I did Master’s Degree in Design. I studied in LAB University of Applied Sciences programm called Regenerative Design and Media Competence. I gratuated in June 2021

Before masters Degree I have studied in HAMK University of Applied Sciences. I Graduated 2013 Bachelor of Arts and Crafts Facilitator.

In 2003 I took matriculation examination in Tiirismaa upper secunday school in Lahti.
In Lahti I also did artisan studies in Salpaus Vocational school and graduated in 2005.
Then I was studying glass in Ikaalinen vocational school. I graduated in 2008 as a glassblower.

4H assosiation

Somehow I have been working in three different 4H-organisations. Firts time during my studies in Hämeenlinna, I teached kids in ceramics club. When I gratuated from HAMK i started working in Lahti 4H assosiation as a executive director. During these years I learned a lot, about managing zoo in the city, how to lead 20 employees and many other things. When we moved to Tampere, by accident there was the same position open for maturnity leave. So I was the executive direcrotr again. AT the moment I am the chairman in Tampere 4H board of the assiciation.
